Summary

Amaira Dhumatker Reaches the Final After a 15–0, 15–1 Semifinal Win

Amaira Dhumatker needed just eight minutes on Court 6 to book her place in the U11 Girls' Singles final, defeating Saachi Sinai Kenkre 15–0, 15–1 in the semifinal.

The opening game was decided before Saachi could get on the scoreboard. Amaira won all 15 rallies, including the first eight and the last seven, to take the game 15–0. The only interval break came at 8–0, and Amaira resumed with another seven-point run to finish the game.

Saachi’s response came immediately in the second game: after Amaira took the first rally, Saachi levelled at 1–1. That was the match’s only tie. Amaira then won the next 14 rallies to close out the game 15–1 and complete the straight-games victory.

The rally detail makes the margin especially clear. Amaira won 28 of 29 points on serve and both points when receiving, while Saachi won one of 29 receiving points and none of her two service points. Amaira’s longest streak was 15 rallies; Saachi’s was one.

Saachi did at least claim the first rally after the second-game interval, trimming the score from 8–0 to 8–1. Amaira answered with seven successive points, ending the match at 15–1. Seeded first, she now advances to match 15 and the final.
