Summary

Amaira Dhumatker Turns Early Control Into a 15–5, 15–3 Final Win

Amaira Dhumatker needed only 10 minutes to claim the U11 Girls’ Singles final, defeating Anvitha Poojari 15–5, 15–3 on Court 2.

The opening game turned after a brief 1–1 start. Dhumatker won four straight rallies to move 5–1 ahead, then added another three-rally burst to reach 8–2. The interval did not interrupt her control: she won seven of the nine rallies recorded after it and closed the game 15–5.

The second game followed the same pattern, but even more sharply. Poojari levelled at 1–1, yet Dhumatker then took seven consecutive rallies to lead 8–1. After the interval, Poojari won two of the next three points, but Dhumatker answered with five of the last six rallies to finish 15–3.

The less obvious margin was at the start of games: Dhumatker won eight of the 10 opening-game rallies tracked by the analytics, while Poojari won only two. Dhumatker also recorded her longest streak at eight rallies; Poojari’s longest was one. Poojari did win eight rallies overall, including three in the second game, but never led by more than a point.

The top seed’s clean two-game finish sends Amaira Dhumatker out of the final with a 30–8 points margin, while Anvitha Poojari leaves with a determined eight-point showing against a relentless start.
