Summary

Rafael Anacleto De Ataide Turns a 3–3 Start Into a Straight-Game Semifinal Win

At 3–3 in the opening game, Pranav Dhargalkar had erased Rafael Anacleto De Ataide’s early three-point burst. That was the closest the semifinal came to changing direction. Rafael answered with the next two rallies, then pulled away to lead 8–4 at the interval and finished the game 15–5 on Court 2.

The second game was even more decisive. After Pranav levelled the opening rally at 1–1, Rafael won seven of the next eight rallies to reach 8–1. Pranav took the first rally after the interval to make it 8–2, but Rafael closed with seven of the last eight points for a 15–2 finish.

The numbers show where the match tilted: Rafael won 24 of 29 rallies on his serve and six of eight while receiving. Pranav won only two of eight on his serve, while Rafael’s longest streak reached seven rallies against Pranav’s three. Rafael was also perfect after both recorded game intervals, winning all nine rallies before the second-game interval and seven of nine afterwards.

Pranav’s five points in game one were his strongest stretch of the match, and he briefly made the score level. Rafael’s response removed that opening and carried him into the final, with a 30–7 points advantage across the 15-minute, 15–5, 15–2 victory.
